MS. SHIRLEY HALE 6TH GRADE COUNSELOR
Ms. Hale knew from a young age that her purpose is to educate children academically as well as morally. She began her teaching career in the Englewood, New Jersey School System and then moved to Fairleigh Dickerson University in Teaneck, New Jersey as Director of the EOF program. Her family relocated to Decatur, Georgia where she worked at Morris Brown College and then segued to the Atlanta Public School System. Ms. Hale holds a bachelor’s degree in African American Studies, History and a master’s degree in School Guidance and Counseling. Her greatest reward in education is to assist students in their academic, social emotional and career growth and development in order to make a difference in their lives.
